Empowering You to Nurture Your Garden

Hello! I'm Dave, an RHS-qualified gardener and founder of Marston's Garden Care.

What makes my approach different is that I don't just care for gardens—I help people build the knowledge and confidence to care for them too. I believe gardens are at their best when they become spaces that people understand, enjoy and feel connected to.

My passion for horticulture is rooted in a genuine love of plants. My favourite tree is the London Plane, I have an ever-growing appreciation for ferns, and I never tire of the scent of passion flowers, which always remind me of Strawberry Shortcake rubbers.

I currently volunteer at Guys Cliffe Walled Garden, where I am reponsible for fruit porduction to supply a local food bank.

Before horticulture, I worked in mental health and within the NHS, as well as coaching junior rugby. These experiences taught me how important patience, trust and good communication are when helping people learn new skills and achieve their goals.

Today, I combine that people-focused background with professional horticultural training to create gardens that thrive and clients who feel empowered to enjoy them.
